As we've researched scuba diving locations while planning our own trips, we've collected a great deal of information about which destinations are -- and are not -- most likely to be enjoyed by gay and lesbian divers who want to have a good time both below, and above, the waves.

In this section of our Gay Dive site, we decided to share what we've learned about both diving conditions, and the type of attitudes and gay life that visitors can anticipate, at some popular dive locations. We'll add to this list as we learn more, and we invite your input.

The Caribbean: Bonaire and the Netherlands Antilles, Cayman Islands, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Saba.

The Mediterranean, Aegean, and North Africa: Greece, Turkey, Egypt.

Southeast Asia: Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand.

The Pacific: Hawaii, Australia, Fiji.
